Thank you so much for your kind hospitality. My guests cannot stop raving on about how beautiful the venue was, everyone had a lovely time and enjoyed the cucumber sandwiches, scones and petite four’s immensely. They even suggested that it was the best Baby Shower they have ever been to, thanks to your set up and attentiveness. The day went off without a hitch and I will definitely be back in the near future with the new bub and husband in tow for some delicious peach tea and scones. What a fabulous place to enjoy High Tea. The service was attentive, the food was delicious and beautifully presented. Generous selection of teas and coffee. Probably the first High Tea I have been to where the tea was served at the correct temperature and the leaves weren’t burnt. Definitely will be back in the very near future, we loved it.
I was at the Gatehouse on Saturday with my little girl for her first High Tea. It was lovely and she had a fantastic time so just wanted to say thank you. The staff and the service were fantastic and they went out of their way to make a fuss of her. She said it was one of the best days she has ever had out with me – so thanks again.

I am gluten and dairy intolerant and have never had anyone go out of their way to create meals for me that are enjoyable. It was hands down the best gluten and dairy free food I have ever tasted! The service is always brilliant and the wait staff are so lovely and friendly . I would highly recommend booking any even at Gatehouse Tea Rooms. We will definitely be back soon!

Visited the Gatehouse Tea Room on Saturday for a friend’s baby shower. It was absolutely beautiful. The food was fresh, presented so elegantly, and the staff were so lovely and accommodating. We stayed past our 2hr booking but there was no hurry in getting us out so that they could clean up after the lunch time sitting. Thank you James to you and all your lovely staff that made the day so wonderful.

Just wanted to say a very sincere thank you to all of you for making my day so wonderful on Saturday. You made everything so easy for us. From the moment I inquired about holding my shower there, to bringing out all the delicious food and drinks and being so professional yet so relaxed and lovely to deal with. Everyone spoke very highly of the food, the venue and the day in general… Despite the weather! (I couldn’t help but laugh at my bad luck to have my shower on the only rainy day out of so many beautiful days!!)

We had booked a table for 4 people to have High Tea on Saturday 28th and I just wanted to thank everyone involved. The High Tea was wonderful the staff were efficient and friendly. Thank you, keep up the good work, it’s a great venue!
I came in today with my family of 4 generations and thoroughly enjoyed our time for high tea. James was our host and he was excellent, extremely accommodating and created a relaxing atmosphere. I would like to commend you on the service and the experience of high tea in such a lovely place.
I would like to thank you for the wonderful service and attention that we were given on Saturday. We were given a table on the top floor all by ourselves which gave us the opportunity to talk, laugh, gossip and off course eat our delicious high tea. Nothing was too much trouble for you all and really we didn’t have to ask for anything as our needs we’re met even before we thought of it. We were celebrating a 60th birthday and the birthday girl was very happy.
I chose this beautiful location for my 50th. I had roughly 50 people attend for high tea and we all had a fabulous afternoon. Everyone commented on the wonderful food and the gorgeous location. The tea, coffee and wine flowed all afternoon . The setting was lovely in the garden. We were protected from the sun by marquees. The tables looked beautiful and elegant. The attention given to us by the staff was second to none. I can’t thank everyone enough for making my day wonderful. I’m still on a high. I definitely recommend Gatehouse High Tea Rooms.

James the owner is delightful! Dad and I came for High Tea and he made us feel like it was the loveliest thing that we could have done in the world and it was! A lovely place in the beautiful Parramatta Park. Wonderful servings and excellent service. We are looking forward to our next High Tea!
This is my favourite place for high tea or devonshire tea. Real scones, real cream, real jam – no ‘damper’ scones here! Good tea selection. Beautiful surrounds, good service, way better than any ‘high tea’ offer at hotels in the city.
James and his team never fail to impress! Service remains impeccable and food scrumptious. I love it here- beautiful surroundings, friendly staff and old world charm. Can’t wait for the special Christmas fare!

I took my daughter there for her 3rd birthday for a Tin Lids High Tea, they made her feel so special putting candles in her little cupcakes and singing her happy birthday. The high tea was wonderful such yummy cakes and sandwiches. What beautiful attentive staff and a wonderful place to spend an hour or more.
Had a lovely breakfast with friends at the Gatehouse High Tea Rooms. The food was very nice….savoury muffins, croissants, scones and fruit with yoghurt…and the service was exceptional. We would recommend to others and look forward to returning.
The High Tea is one of the best with freshly baked mini quiche, beautiful selection of fresh finger sandwiches, fresh baked scones with raspberry jam and clotted cream and a wicked selection of petit fours. Lovely restored 19th century beauty the old Gatehouse to Parramatta Park offers a delightful, elegant setting to such indulgence with a tranquil outlook onto the park. Service couldn’t have been better.
